11/10 - Picture Retake Day We will not be offering preorders for retakes, so there is no code on the notice. Parents will instead receive a code on the proof image of their child's picture after the event. They will use this code on GeskusPrint.com to order.
11/11 - NO SCHOOL, Veteran's Day
11/23 - 11/25 - NO SCHOOL, Thanksgiving Break
2022-23 Basketball
Grades 5-8 sign ups will start today and are located in the office. Open gym will be Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:30 - 7pm beginning 10/17 for grades 5-8. We will offer 5th/6th Boys, 5th/6th Girls, 7th/8th Boys, and 7th/8th Girls. If we are not able to field a team within the age group we may have to move players up a level.
The season will start in November and run to February vacation. Practice will be 4-5 nights a week. There may be Saturday practices, but they will be optional. Times will be determined on coaching availability. There are typically 2 games a week, starting in December and depending on the team, the possibility of Saturday games.
I am looking for coaches at a number of levels, if you are interested please let me know.
We would also like to offer a 3rd/4th Grade Boys and 3rd/4th Girls team. These teams would practice twice a week and have games on Saturdays. They would have a preseason jamboree style tournament to determine what division they would participate in. If you are interested please contact me directly at acipriano@sau53.org.
The Elementary Basketball Program will be offered for grades K-4 on Saturday mornings starting mid December or early January and run to February vacation. Sign ups for this program will be sent out shortly.
