Good Morning, Last Day today.  Early release 12:30. Graduation tonight @ 6:00. Students in grades 5-8 next year, don't forget your Summer Reading. All materials can be found on Google Classroom. The PTO would like to thank all the families of CCS for there support this school year.  We would like to share with you all what the PTO was able to accomplished this year because of your support.  August - Back to school teacher breakfast September - Mums fundraiser, a subscription to Scholastic for 4th grade classes, back to school BBQ and provided K-cups to the teacher lounge to keep them going! Oct. - Yankee Candle fundraiser (we profited $3725.50), paid 1/3 of the cost of the new music keyboard for the drama and music program, Halloween parade handouts Nov. - Craft fair Dec. Teachers luncheon, Santa breakfast (this year we added the horse wagon rides), donation to the Student Council shopping for the needy, book fair (donated proceeds of $1300.00 to the Li

Good Morning, Field Day June 17 th The year is coming to an end and with that comes field day on June 17 th , a day of fun activities and barbecue.  Hot lunch that day is a barbecue: hamburgers, hot dogs, salads and watermelon.  Students are asked to wear grade color shirts: Grade 1:    Yellow                       Grade 6:   Red Grade 2:   Red                           Grade 7:   Blue Grade 3:   Orange                     Grade 8:   Black Grade 4:   Blue Grade 5:   Green Please have your child wear sneakers , shorts, grade color shirt and remember school dress code please.  Apply sunscreen and bug spray at home.  If you would like your child to reapply please send the sunscreen in a ziplock bag with their name on it.  Staff can help with it.  Yes, bring a water bottle with name on it for drinking purposes only.  If you have any questions please call 798-5651.  Current 6th & 7th grade VLACS sign up meeting for parents/students tomorrow @ 6:00 in Tech Lab

CCS Field Day is June 15th.  This is for grades 1-8.  Hot lunch purchase that day is a BBQ  hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, and watermelon.  Students need to wear sneakers, shorts and grade color shirt. 1st-Yellow 2nd-Red 3rd-Orange 4th-Blue 5th-Green 6th-Red 7th-Blue 8th-Black Rain date is Wednesday the 17th. Good Morning, Current 8th graders are invited to visit PA today to sign up for fall sports.  A one-way bus will transport students to PA @ 2:45.  Parents are welcome to attend the 3:20-3:50 meeting.  Rides home need to be arranged from PA @ 3:50.  A permission note is needed for the students to ride the bus to PA.  Please email mplunkett@sau53.org  or call the office, 798-5651 with student permission. Good Morning, 6th Grade DARE Graduation this morning @ 8:30 in the gym. Good Morning,   Baseball/Softball Tournaments took place this weekend. The boys took First Place defeating Gilmanton in the final. The girls came in Second Place defeating Gilmanton in the 1st playoff game.   Both teams had a fantastic season.  Congratulations to players and coaches!
