Good Morning,

There was an error in the newsletter this week: Friday, February 24 will be a Hawaiian Spirit Day at school.  Come dressed in a floral shirt or wear bright colors to help welcome warmer weather after our break!

The Currier Outreach Art Program will be coming back to CCS in the month of March.  Interested students in grades 1-3 will meet on Tuesdays from 2:45-4:15 in the Art Room and students in grades 4-8 on Thursdays from 2:45-4:15.  Please see these forms for more information and to register.    

Multicultural Night will be on Thursday, February 23.  The Potluck Dinner will start @ 5:00, with a program in the gym @ 5:40.  Classroom tours will begin at 6:00 and run until 7:00.  Parking at the school for events can be difficult at times.  Please carpool if possible.  We will also have a shuttle bus leaving the Town Hall @ 4:30.  The shuttle bus will run back and forth from the school to the Town Hall until the end of the Fair.  Please click here for more information on Multicultural Fair and Potluck Dinner

Book Swap:  On Friday, Feb. 24, CCS will hold a school-wide Book Swap.  Students may bring in new or gently used books starting Wednesday, Feb. 15 through Wednesday, Feb. 22.  Students can leave books with their homeroom teacher who will keep track.  For every book brought in, students can select books to take home on Friday, Feb, 24 to encourage reading over vacation and getting ready for Read Across America Week celebrated after vacation.

Winter Break-February 27th-March 3rd.

Good Morning, Please click here for the latest CCS Express Newsletter The Athletic Awards scheduled for this Thursday, June 7th have been cancelled.  Students will be recognized at the end of year school awards during the school day.   School Board meets June 12 @ 5:00. (note time change)  CCS Academic Awards  June 13 @ 6:00. A note from the PTO: The Spring book fair will be different than last years.  The PTO has partnered with  Gibsons  bookstore in Concord for our book fair.  We will have all the summer reading books also our Teachers and Librarian have come up with books appropriate for each grade level. All books will be at a discounted rate of 20% off the list price.  The book fair will be open  Monday ,  Tuesday , and  Wednesday  during school hours and  Wednesday  night. The PTO will only be able to take cash and checks NO debit or credit cards.  Students in grades 5-8 received their summer reading list today. All titles will be available at the PTO
