National Geographic has gifted the New Hampshire Geographic Alliance a Giant Traveling Map of our state. It will be visiting our school for one week (January 9th-13th.) Mrs. Reeves will be using this great resource with her fourth graders.  This Giant Traveling Map of New Hampshire aims to encourage geographic learning through physical movement and games that will teach students physical geography, cultural geography, map reading skills, and many other valuable lessons. Families are welcome to come on Tuesday, Jan. 10th between 5-6:30 pm to check it out and try an activity with the map in Mrs. Reeves classroom.

2017-2018 REGISTRATION DATES
Do you have a kindergarten child or first grader new to Chichester Central School entering in the fall of 2017 and are unsure of what to do?  The Chichester Central School is currently opening up registration early this year in order to better plan for the opening of school in the fall.  The Chichester School Board is also considering a transition from a half-day to a full-day program and needs registration information to help with this decision.
Kindergarten/New Grade 1 registration will begin on January 11.  Parents/Guardians must stop by Chichester Central School to pick up a registration packet and will need to return the completed package in person to school.  Parents will be asked to supply a copy of their child’s birth certificate & immunizations, parents/guardians driver’s license, and proof of residency in Chichester.  The age requirements for entry is age 5 (kindergarten) and age 6 (grade 1) by September 30, 2017.  School hours for registration pick up and drop off are between 7:30-3:15, Monday-Friday.
