There is no boys open gym basketball tonight.  It is rescheduled for tomorrow 4-5:30 p.m.

Annual PTO Arts & Crafts Fair November 5th from 9-2 in the CCS gym.  A great time to start Christmas Shopping!

New! Grab N Go Breakfast! CCS will be trying out a grab-n-go breakfast starting November 1st. Students will be able to pick from a variety of items such as: Breakfast wraps, yogurt parfaits, our own whole grain cinnamon rolls, banana bread, coffee cakes, whole grain bagels & cream cheese, hard boiled eggs, fresh fruit, cereal, milk and 100% juice. Students will have the opportunity to come grab breakfast items first thing in the morning and bring them back to their class to eat during announcements.

Are you interested in building? Designing? Crafting? Or Coding? In an effort to promote STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics) in our school, we will be offering a six week Maker Camp. This program will feature creative exploration in innovation and design using technology. It will take place on Mondays after school until 4:00 pm starting Monday, November 7th. It will continue through December 12th.   This first camp session will be available to grades 5 and 6. If you are interested, please sign up in the tech lab with Mrs. Duval. She will provide a link to a digital permission slip to the parent email address on file at school. We are only have room for a maximum of 12 students so come on in and sign up.
PTO will be having their annual Craft/Vendor fair on November 5th from 9am-2pm, we are looking for the following food donations to sell during the fair. If you can help out by donating any of the following please contact Betsy betsy.purvis@comast.net

Chili - 2 needed
Chop Suey - 2 needed
Corn Bread - approx 48 pieces needed
Rolls - approx 48 needed

Please be sure to mark your calendars to stop by the fair and support local crafters and businesses while starting your holiday shopping :-)

Good Morning, Basketball Today 5/6 Boys & Girls Home v. Concord Christian @ 4:00.  Girls play first. School Board budget hearing Thursday @ 6:00. Babysitting is available from 6:00-end of meeting.  Children must be potty trained. Scrabble Club will begin on Thursday, February 5th.  Meetings are Thursdays from 2:45-4:00.  Please get permission slips back to Mrs. Dockham ASAP. Multicultural Fair will be held on Thursday, February 19th from 5-7:30.  Dinner will be from 5:00-6:00.  Activities start @ 5:45. PTO meets February 11th @ 6:30 in the  school library. Good Morning, Reminder...Student drop off time is 8:00.  The students can go to the gym at that time where there is supervision. Please do not drop your student off before 8:00, there is no supervision for them.  Congratulations to our 7/8 boys & girls basketball teams on their wins over Allenstown yesterday.  Great teamwork by the boys & girls! School Board Budget Work Session tonight @ 6:00. Jump rope for Heart is being kicked off during PE classes.  This event is open to all students in grades 1-8.  The event is right around the corner on January 22nd, time is after school from 3-4.  Last Friday the students received a participation envelope.  The envelope has the permission slip, ticket for the first $5.00 donation to receive the lanyard and first puppy, prize list and sponsor form/collection envelope that will be due on the event day.  Get ready to jump and join the fun.  If you have any questions please c...
