Good Morning,

On Tuesday, January 19th the Environmental Club will be hosting a knit your own scarf day from 2:45 - 4:30.  Mrs. Pinckney will be sharing her love of knitting with all those that are interested.  The cost of the event will be $4 and all needles and yarn will be provided.  Students in grades 4-8 are welcome to attend and parents are invited too.  Please contact Chris Gagnon at cgagnon@sau53.org by Friday, January 15th if you are interested. 

The Environmental Club is also looking for pallets which could be used this spring to construct compost bins.  If you have access to some unused pallets and would like to donate them to the Environmental Club, please contact Chris Gagnon at cgagnon@sau53.org.

School Board Budget Work session January 13th @ 6:00.


 Jump rope for Heart is being kicked off this week during PE classes.  This event is open to all students in grades 1-8.  The event is right around the corner on January 22nd, time is after school from 3-4.  On Friday the students will receive a participation envelope.  The envelope has the permission slip, ticket for the first $5.00 donation to receive the lanyard and first puppy, prize list and sponsor form/collection envelope that will be due on the event day.  Get ready to jump and join the fun.  If you have any questions please contact Mrs. Dougherty, kdougherty@sau53.org  and Mrs. Rasanen, crasanen@sau53.org via email or call 798-5651.

Good Morning, Please click here for the latest CCS Express Newsletter The Athletic Awards scheduled for this Thursday, June 7th have been cancelled.  Students will be recognized at the end of year school awards during the school day.   School Board meets June 12 @ 5:00. (note time change)  CCS Academic Awards  June 13 @ 6:00. A note from the PTO: The Spring book fair will be different than last years.  The PTO has partnered with  Gibsons  bookstore in Concord for our book fair.  We will have all the summer reading books also our Teachers and Librarian have come up with books appropriate for each grade level. All books will be at a discounted rate of 20% off the list price.  The book fair will be open  Monday ,  Tuesday , and  Wednesday  during school hours and  Wednesday  night. The PTO will only be able to take cash and checks NO debit or credit cards.  Students in grades 5-8 received their summer reading list today. All titles will be available at the PTO

Good Morning, 7/8  Basketball Home v. Concord Christian  Girls 1st  @ 4:00. 5/6 @ Concord Christian   Boys 1st  @ 4:00.
