Good Morning,

Congratulations to our 5/6 Boys and Girls SVL Basketball team for their wins over Barnstead last night.  The boys played a great game.  The girls won in OT.  Great teamwork by both teams!

There is no scrabble club this week.
The Environmental Club will continue to meet on Tuesday afternoons for the remainder of the year.  Activities will include trail maintenance, animal/plant identification, snowshoeing, cross country skiing and more.  Interested individuals do not need to commit to the club but can rather pick and choose to come depending upon the activity of the week.  Those that are interested should bring in a note to be signed at the office.   Also, be sure to dress appropriately including gloves, winter hat and durable footwear. 

The PTO meeting scheduled for Wednesday has been canceled.

Winter Concert this Thursday @ 6:30.  Grades 1-6 will be performing.  Students need to be in homerooms @ 6:15

 Student Council meets Friday @ 7:30 am.

This week is our last Star Wars event and we will be showing The Return of the Jedi. We will be celebrating with a costume contest and yes there are some prizes. If your child plans on coming, please bring a snack to share during our celebration. Sign up here:

Will you be purchasing some gift cards for family or friends for the holidays?  No reason to go store to store buying those cards....at CCS you can get all your gift card shopping done in one place.  Go to our website www.sau53.org/ccs under the "forms" tab, the gift card order form is located there.  Orders are placed on Monday and the cards arrive Friday. You can always call the office (798-5651), for more info.

Good Morning, 7/8  Basketball Home v. Concord Christian  Girls 1st  @ 4:00. 5/6 @ Concord Christian   Boys 1st  @ 4:00. Jump Rope for Heart is this Friday, January 22nd.  Please make sure you have sent in your permission slip.  The envelope and money id due on Friday.  Time for the event is after school until 4.  Please pick up at 4 and if your child is going to after care please send a note stating that please.  A snack and water will be provided.  Be ready to Jump. Good Morning, Just a Reminder As the weather changes, please make sure to send warm clothing with your child.   The student flu clinic will be held on Thursday, October 13th at 9 AM.  Information and registration forms will be sent home with students by today. Please return forms by October 12th.  Let's help keep our children, school and community healthy this flu season !   If any questions, please contact the school nurse @ 798-5651.   There will be no Student Council meeting this Friday, but we do have a fall clean up after school today. It will go until about 4:15. We will be weeding, planting mums and building a scarecrow or two. Anyone who wants to bring scarecrow things is welcome to do so. This Sunday Oct. 2nd, we will be doing the Autism speaks walk. This is a new experience for us - and it came up fast. This is a fundraiser, and awareness walk. It is one mile.
