A note from the PTO:
The PTO craft fair is this weekend from 9-2. We have 50 talented vendors attending. The PTO is looking for 2-3 helpers in the morning from 7:00 -9:00 to help vendors unload their cars. If you are able to help please contact Heather Chiavaras at hmonahan@yahoo.com.
NJHS will be baking after school on Fri. until about 6:00. A note is needed to stay. They will hold a bake sale at the craft fair. All proceeds will buy gifts for children in need.
During the month of November, NJHS will be collecting non perishable food items for our local food pantry and the Capital Regions Food Program. Boxes are located in the foyers at school for food items drop off.
Student Council will meet Friday after school until 4:30. We will be making decorations for the Feztival of Trees.
On November 24th & 25th, we will be supporting our Veterans through the G.I. GO Funds, "Jeans for Troops". The G.I. Go Fund is a non profit organization that provides assistance to all military veterans, with a focus on Veterans from Iraq & Afghanistan, by helping them find employment, access housing, and secure their educational & health benefits. The "Jeans for Troops" is a "dress down" day. By donating $1.00 (good for both days), students can help support the troops.
